What Arizona law says
| Notice before a rent increase | No statute sets a specific rent-increase notice. A month-to-month tenancy can be ended, and new terms offered, with written notice given at least 30 days before the periodic rental date (10 days for week-to-week). During a fixed-term lease, rent follows the lease. |

| Rent control / increase limits | Local rent control is preempted. Cities, including charter cities, and towns have no power to control rents on private residential property. There is no statewide rent cap. Source: A.R.S. § 33-1329 |
