Two Weeks' Notice Letter in Colorado

A short, professional resignation letter giving two weeks' notice. Most jobs are at-will, so notice is a courtesy unless a contract requires it — but your state sets when your final paycheck is due (below).

What Colorado law says

Final paycheck if you quitBy the next regular payday.
Unused vacation / PTO payoutYes. Earned, unused vacation pay (including PTO that can be used for vacation) must be paid when employment ends for any reason, whether the employee is fired or quits. Policies that forfeit earned vacation are void. Sick leave or other leave limited to specific needs does not have to be paid out.
