Georgia Late Rent Notice
A free Georgia late rent notice that follows Georgia law. Fill in the boxes, check the rules below, then print or copy it. Keep a copy and proof of how you sent it.
What Georgia law says
| Late fees | No statutory cap or grace period identified. Georgia statutes treat late fees as charges a landlord may collect: they may be demanded in the 3-business-day pay-or-vacate notice and deducted from the security deposit. |
|---|---|
| Notice for unpaid rent | Before filing a dispossessory affidavit for unpaid rent, late fees, utilities, or other charges, the landlord must give the tenant a notice to vacate or pay all past-due amounts within three business days. The notice must be posted in a sealed envelope conspicuously on the door of the property AND delivered by any additional method(s) agreed upon in the rental agreement. |
