Idaho Security Deposit Itemization Letter Template
What a Idaho security deposit itemization letter must include under Idaho law, and a fill-in draft that follows those rules.
What Idaho law requires
If less than the full deposit is refunded, the refund must be accompanied by a signed statement itemizing the amounts kept, the purpose of each, and a detailed list of expenditures made from the deposit. Due within 21 days after surrender if the lease sets no time (never more than 30 days). No deduction for normal wear and tear. The statute does not specify a delivery method.

Fill-in draft
Replace every [bracketed] item. If your state or city requires specific wording, a specific form, or a translated version, that requirement controls over this draft. Courts dismiss eviction cases over defective notices — if anything is unclear, talk to a lawyer.
