What Indiana law says

Notice before a rent increaseUnless a written rental agreement provides otherwise, a landlord must give the tenant at least 30 days' written notice before modifying the rental agreement, which includes raising the rent. Local governments may not regulate rental rates (IC 32-31-1-20). There is no longer notice period for large increases.
