Michigan Notice to End a Month-to-Month Tenancy Template
What a Michigan notice to end a month-to-month tenancy must include under Michigan law, and a fill-in draft that follows those rules.
What Michigan law requires
Tenancy at will or by sufferance: 1 month's notice, or a notice equal to the rent-payment interval if rent is paid at intervals shorter than 3 months. A termination date that does not match the end of a rental period does not void the notice; the tenancy ends after a full rental interval. Year-to-year tenancy: a notice ends the tenancy 1 year after service.

Fill-in draft
Replace every [bracketed] item. If your state or city requires specific wording, a specific form, or a translated version, that requirement controls over this draft. Courts dismiss eviction cases over defective notices — if anything is unclear, talk to a lawyer.
