Nebraska Rent Increase Notice
A free Nebraska rent increase notice that follows Nebraska law. Fill in the boxes, check the rules below, then print or copy it. Keep a copy and proof of how you sent it.
What Nebraska law says
| Notice before a rent increase | No statute for ordinary residential tenancies — the residential act sets no specific rent-increase notice. A month-to-month tenancy can be ended on 30 days' written notice before a periodic rental date (7 days for week-to-week). Mobile home park tenants must get written notice of any rent increase, by actual notice or U.S. mail, at least 60 days before it takes effect. |
|---|---|
| Rent control / increase limits | Preempted statewide: cities, villages, counties and their subdivisions may not enact or enforce local laws controlling rent on private property, including home-rule cities; conflicting local laws are void. |
