Two Weeks' Notice Letter in North Carolina

A short, professional resignation letter giving two weeks' notice. Most jobs are at-will, so notice is a courtesy unless a contract requires it — but your state sets when your final paycheck is due (below).

What North Carolina law says

Final paycheck if you quitSame rule: on or before the next regular payday.
Source: G.S. 95-25.7
Unused vacation / PTO payoutEmployers are not required to offer vacation pay, but if they do, they must follow their own policy. Vacation can be forfeited at separation only if the employer gave written notice of a forfeiture policy; employees not notified cannot lose it.
