What Ohio law says

Notice before a rent increaseNo statute sets a notice period for rent increases. In practice, a month-to-month landlord changes rent by ending the tenancy and offering new terms, which requires 30 days' notice before the periodic rental date (7 days for week-to-week). For a fixed-term lease, rent can change only at renewal or as the lease allows.
Rent control / increase limitsLocal rent control and rent stabilization are preempted statewide.
