What Oklahoma law says

Ending a month-to-month leaseMonth-to-month or tenancy at will: at least 30 days' written notice by either landlord or tenant. Tenancies shorter than month-to-month (e.g., week-to-week): at least 7 days' written notice by either party.
How notices must be deliveredWritten termination notices under the Act must be served on the tenant personally. If the tenant cannot be found, the notice may be given to a family member over age 12 who lives with the tenant. Failing that, it may be posted conspicuously on the unit and also mailed by certified mail (or through the Postal Service's Firm Mailing Book for Accountable Mail). Notices to the landlord go to the person designated under § 116, personally or by certified mail. No statute addresses email or text notices.
