Oklahoma Notice to End a Month-to-Month Tenancy Template
What a Oklahoma notice to end a month-to-month tenancy must include under Oklahoma law, and a fill-in draft that follows those rules.
Use the official form if there is one
What Oklahoma law requires
Month-to-month or at-will: written notice at least 30 days before the termination date, counted from the date of service. Tenancies shorter than month-to-month: at least 7 days. Service on the tenant: personally; if the tenant cannot be found, to a resident family member over 12; otherwise by posting at a conspicuous place on the unit plus a copy by certified mail or Firm Mailing Book. A tenant who cannot personally serve the landlord mails the notice by certified mail. Willful holdover: up to twice the average monthly rent, prorated daily.

Fill-in draft
Replace every [bracketed] item. If your state or city requires specific wording, a specific form, or a translated version, that requirement controls over this draft. Courts dismiss eviction cases over defective notices — if anything is unclear, talk to a lawyer.
