What Oklahoma law says
| Notice before a rent increase | No statute — Oklahoma law sets no advance-notice period or cap for rent increases. § 109 only says rent is payable at the time and place agreed (or, by default, at the start of each month). During a lease, rent can change only as the lease allows; in a month-to-month tenancy the landlord can change terms by ending the tenancy with 30 days' written notice (7 days for tenancies shorter than month-to-month) under § 111. |---|---|
| Rent control / increase limits | No statewide rent cap. Cities are prohibited from enacting, maintaining or enforcing ordinances that set rent on privately owned residential (or commercial) property. Source: 11 O.S. § 14-101.1 |
