Texas Late Rent Notice

A free Texas late rent notice that follows Texas law. Fill in the boxes, check the rules below, then print or copy it. Keep a copy and proof of how you sent it.

What Texas law says

Late feesAllowed only if notice of the fee is in a written lease, the fee is reasonable, and rent remains unpaid two full days after the due date. Safe-harbor reasonable fee: up to 12% of monthly rent (buildings with 4 or fewer units) or 10% (buildings with more than 4 units), or more if it does not exceed the landlord's uncertain damages.
Notice for unpaid rentAt least 3 days' written notice to vacate before filing, unless the written lease provides a shorter or longer period. For a tenant evicted solely for nonpayment who was not delinquent before the month of the notice, the notice must be a notice to pay rent or vacate.
