Alabama Notice to Pay Rent or Quit Template
What a Alabama notice to pay rent or quit must include under Alabama law, and a fill-in draft that follows those rules.
What Alabama law requires
Written notice to terminate that specifies the amount of rent and any late fees owed to cure, and states that the rental agreement will terminate on a date not less than 7 business days after the tenant receives it. If not cured within the 7 business days, the agreement terminates. If both nonpayment and another breach exist, the 7-day nonpayment period governs. A tenant may cure no more than twice in 12 months without the landlord's written consent.

Fill-in draft
Replace every [bracketed] item. If your state or city requires specific wording, a specific form, or a translated version, that requirement controls over this draft. Courts dismiss eviction cases over defective notices — if anything is unclear, talk to a lawyer.
