Unemployment Appeal Letter in Wyoming

A letter appealing a denial of unemployment benefits. Appeal deadlines are short and strict in every state — file before the deadline shown below, even if you are still gathering documents, and keep claiming benefits each week while the appeal is pending if your state allows it.

What Wyoming law says

Appealing a denialYou can protest or appeal an initial determination within 28 calendar days from the date the notice was mailed. Keep your address current, because determinations are sent by mail and the Postal Service will not forward them.
If you were firedIf you were fired for misconduct related to your job, you can be disqualified and will not receive payments until the issue is resolved. The division reviews the reason for your separation using information from you and your employer.
If you quitIf you quit your last job without a good reason, you can be disqualified. The division decides based on information from you and your employer.
